Bowie State Performing Arts Center

Bowie State University completed construction on a $71 million, 123,000 square-foot, Performing Arts Center which opened to students for the Spring 2012 semester. The new building is home to Bowie State’s Department of Fine an Perfoming Arts which includes art, music, music technology, theater arts, and visual communication and digital media arts programs. Miller, Beam & Paganelli provided audiovisual system designs for all technical spaces including a 400-seat main theater, 200-seat black box theater, a 200-seat recital hall, recording studio, dance studio, art gallery, band and orchestra rehersal rooms, and numerous other classrooms and laboratories.
