Project consisted of an urban arts center that features four distinct performance venues, three visual arts galleries, and a 4,000 square foot ballroom. Resident companies of the space include the Artisans Center of Virginia, Aurora Opera Theater, National Chamber Ensemble, and the Washington Shakespeare Company. Miller, Beam & Paganelli’s responsibilities included acoustical and audiovisual system designs for the Ballroom, Terrace Gallery and Spectrum Theater. A highlight of the audiovisual system is a two-story curved screen wall in the Town Hall with edge blended video projectors used to screen experimental media productions.
